The Consept of Needs at Social Work and Need Based Policies at Child Welfare System
Abstract
Social work is a profession which is to solve problems,
increase humans functionality and achieved the
well being of people. Achieving human well-being
means that a child is safe from daily problems of the
life. This requires that a client’s needs are met and
that the human be able to grow and develop in an
environment that provides consistent nurture, support,
and stimulation. In the developed countries needbased
policies and programmes have been used from
the long time. In this study; client’s needs consept that
is important for the life quality and well-being of children;
resources of support and the types of social
work that types of work that could be done by social
workers in coping with human needs problems have
been evaluated from the perspective of social work
discipline. Besides this, the effects of generalist social
work approach on child welfare system have been
also disgusted by examples.
