Batteries from Past to Present

Öz

The energy that we need in every area of our lives can be provided from batteries that are energy storage systems. In this context, batteries can store electrical energy by converting it into electrochemical energy and also to allow us at any time can use this stored energy as electrical energy. Starting from the Baghdad battery, this process has become concrete by Volta batteries and is now being replaced by lithium ion batteries with high efficiency. Lithium ion batteries, which have many advantages such as their long life and high energy capacity, make them different from other batteries due to these advantages. In this article, detailed information will be given about the historical process of batteries from ancient times to the present day and about lithium ion batteries used in many fields.

Geçmişten Günümüze Piller

Öz

Hayatımızın her alanında ihtiyaç duyduğumuz enerjiyi, enerji depolama sistemlerinden biri olan pillerden karşılayabiliriz. Bu kapsamda piller, elektrik enerjisini elektrokimyasal enerjiye dönüştürerek depolayabilir ve istenildiği anda da bu depolanan enerjiyi elektrik enerjisi olarak kullanmamızı sağlayabilirler. Bağdat pilinden başlayan bu süreç, Volta pilleriyle somutluk kazanarak günümüzde ise yüksek verimlilikleriyle yerini lityum iyon pillerine bırakmaktadır. Uzun ömre sahip olmaları, yüksek enerji kapasitesi gibi de birçok avantajları olan lityum iyon piller, günümüzde bu üstünlüklerinden dolayı kendisini diğer pillerden ayrı kılmaktadır. Bu makale kapsamında, eski çağlardan günümüze kadar uzanan pillerin tarihsel süreci hakkında ve birçok alanda kullandığımız lityum iyon piller hakkında detaylıca bilgiler verilecektir.
