Benign Prostat Hiperplazisi ve Büyüme Faktörleri

Öz

Benign prostat hiperplazisi {BPH}. etyolojisi tam olarak anlaşılamamış hiperpiazik bir dummdur. Normal prostat dokusunun hiperplaziye gidişine etkili olduğu var- sayılan kimi teoriler ileri sürülmüştür. Bunlardan “embri- yenel yeniden uyanma teorisi"ne göre çeşitli faktörlerin prestal dokusuna etkisi hiperplaziye yol açmaktadır. Bu faktörlerin değişik adlar iie anılmalarına karşın. tümünün birer "büyüme faktörü" olduğu bildirilmektedir. Bu derle— rnede. çeşitli büyüme faktörlerinin prostat dokusu ve BPH gelişimi üzerine olan etkileri güncel kaynakların ışıgında gözden geçirilmiştir
