Pulmonary epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (A case report)

Abstract

Introduction and purpose: Pulmonary epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (PEH) is a very rarely seen primary lung neoplasm. It has formerly known as intravascular sclerosing bronchioalveolar tumour and it may occur also in the liver, head and neck area, oral mucosa, mediastinum, diaphragm and brain. Pulmoner epitelioid hemanjiyoendotelyoma (Olgu sunumu)

Öz

Giriş ve amaç: Pulmoner epiteloid hemanjiyoendotelyom, oldukça az görülen bir primer akciğer malignitesidir. Önceleri intravasküler sklerozan bronkoalveolar tümör olarak tanımlanan bu malignite karaciğer, başboyun bölgesi, oral mukoza, kemik, mediasten, diafragma ve beyinde de primer olarak ortaya çıkabilir. Amacımız, saptadığımız oldukça az görülen bu olguyu sunmaktır. Olgu sunumu: Ateş yüksekliği ve hemoptizi yakınmaları ile başvuran 54 yaşındaki kadın olguya, uygulanan tüm tanısal girişimlere rağmen tanı konamadı. Yapılan açık akciğer biyopsisi sonucunda epiteloid hemanjiyoendotelyom tanısı alan olgu akciğer biyopsisinden 45 gün sonra tümör progresyonu nedeniyle öldü. Sonuç: Ulaşabildiğimiz kaynaklarda daha önce yaklaşık 50 olgunun bildirildiği belirtilen bu az görülen akciğer malignitesi ilgili kaynakların eşliğinde sunulmaktadır
