Obez adolesanlarda vücut yağı ölçüm yöntemlerinin etkinliği

Öz

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı basit antropometrik ölçümleri objektif vücut yağı ölçüm sonuçları ile karşılaştırıp, etkinliği yüksek yöntemleri belirlemek; böylece obeziteyi en erken ve doğru bir şekilde belirlemeye katkı sağlamaktı. Gereç ve yöntem: Seksen sekiz obez adolesanın vücut yağ kütlesi biyoelektrik empedans analizi ile ölçüldü. Vücut yağ kütlesinin dağılımını belirlemek için bel çevresi, kalça çevresi ve deri kıvrım kalınlığı ölçümleri yapıldı. Bu ölçümler arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya çıkarmak için korelasyon analizi yapıldı. Sonuçlar: Kız çocuklarında; vücut yağ kütlesi sonuçları ile triceps, abdominal ve suprailiak deri kıvrım kalınlığı ölçümleri arasında orta düzeyde pozitif korelasyon bulundu (sırasıyla r=0.56, 0.52, 0.62; p
