Kalıtımsal ve edinilmiş nörolojik hastalıklarda sağlıkla ilgili yaşam kalitesinin algılanması: retrospektif klinik çalışma

Öz

Amaç: Kalıtımsal ve edinilmiş iki farklı grup nörolojik hastalıkta, sağlıkla ilgili yaşam kalitesi (SİYK) algılamasını karşılaştırmaktır. Gereç ve yöntem: Çalışmada, nörolojik rehabilitasyon ünitesinde ayaktan tedavi programına katılan demografik, fiziksel ve fonksiyonel özellikleri yakın ve bağımsız olarak toplum içerisinde yürüyebilen 54 (28/26-erkek/kadın) nörolojik hasta değerlendirildi. Hastalar, kalıtımsal (N=27) veya edinilmiş (N=27) nörolojik hastalığa sahip olma durumlarına göre iki gruba ayrıldı. Ağrı, diğer özgeçmiş bilgileri, fonksiyonel seviye (Fonksiyonel Bağımsızlık Ölçeği (FBÖ)), mobilite (Rivermead Mobilite İndeksi (RMİ)) ve SİYK algılama düzeyleri (Nottingham Sağlık Profili (NSP)) dosya kayıtlarından geriye dönük olarak kaydedildi. Sonuçlar: Gruplar arasında RMİ ve FBÖ puanları arasında anlamlı bir farklılığın bulunmadığı (p>0.05). Enerji seviyesi, emosyonel reaksiyonlar, fiziksel aktivite ve toplam SİYK puanlarının kalıtımsal nörolojik hastalığı bulunan grupta, diğer gruba göre daha yüksek ve aradaki farkın anlamlı olduğu belirlendi (p0.05). Tartışma: Çalışmamızın sonucunda, kalıtımsal nörolojik hastalığa sahip kişilerin SİYK’ni edinilmiş nörolojik hastalığa sahip kişilerden daha düşük algıladıkları görüldü. Nörolojik hastalığın doğası nedeniyle farklı boyutlarda etkilenebilen SİYK, nörolojik rehabilitasyon programlarının hedefleri açısından yakından izlenmelidir
