Diz osteoartriti olan hastalarda Pilates egzersizlerinin rolü: bir pilot çalışma

Öz

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı diz osteoartritli hastalarda Pilates egzersizlerinin etkilerini araştırmaktı. Gereç ve yöntem: Diz osteoartritli 127 hasta değerlendirildi. Altmış yedi hasta çalışmaya dahil edildi. Hastalar ağrı yakınmalarına göre grup programı ve ev programı olarak iki gruba ayrıldı. Pilates egzersiz programları öncesi ve sonrası diz ekstansiyon kas kuvveti, WOMAC Osteoarthritis Index, Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), Health Assessment Questionnaire (HAQ) ve Timed up and Go (TUG) testlerinin sonuçları karşılaştırıldı. Grup programı haftada üç kez, dört hafta boyunca uygulandı. Her seans yaklaşık 60 dakika sürdü. Ev programı dört hafta boyunca her hafta kontrol edildi. Tüm hastalar ayda bir kez hasta eğitim seansına katıldılar. Sonuçlar: Grup eğitimi ve ev programı gruplarında bütün parametrelerde, TUG testi hariç, eğitim öncesine göre anlamlı bir düzelme kaydedildi (p
