Maraşotu Nicotiana rustica L. kullanımının lenfosit alt gruplarına etkilerinin araştırılması

Öz

Amaç: Bu çalışmada; maraşotu kulanımının lenfosit alt gruplarına olan etkilerinin ortaya konması amaçlanmıştır.Yöntem: Bu çalışmada, sigarayı bırakmak için maraşotu kullanmaya başlayan ve bu otun bağımlısı olan sağlıklı gönüllüler olgu grubu ve sağlıklı, herhangi bir tütün ürünü kullanmayan gönüllüler kontrol grubu oluşturulmuştur. Gönüllülerden bir defa alınan tam kan örneklerinde hücresel immün sisteme ait lenfosit alt grupları kitler Becton Dickinson kullanılarak akım sitometrik yöntemle değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Olgu ve kontrol gruplarındaki tüm denekler erkek olup yaş ortalamaları açısından gruplar birbirine benzer oluşturulmuştur. Olgu grubunun CD4+/CD8+ T hücre oranları, CD19+ B lenfosit ve CD4+ T helper lenfosit hücre yüzdeleri ortalamaları kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı olarak düşük bulunmuştur. Bununla birlikte, olgu grubunun CD16+56+ natural killer lenfosit ve CD8+ T sitotoksik lenfosit hücre yüzdeleri ortalamaları kontrol grubundan anlamlı olarak yüksek belirlenmiştir. CD3+ total T lenfosit hücre yüzdeleri ortalamaları ise her iki grupta da benzer olarak saptanmıştır. Sonuç: Maraşotu kullanımının tiryakilerde hücresel immüniteyi göreceli olarak arttırdığı, humoral immüniteyi ise azalttığı düşünülmektedir. Neticede her türlü sapma ile sonuçlanan immün yanıtlar, çeşitli hastalıklara zemin hazırlayabilmektedir. Bu nedenle, sigara konusunda olduğu gibi, maraşotunun kullanıcılarının da sağlığa olabilecek etkiler konusunda uyarılması önem taşımaktadır

Öz

Objective: This study was to investigate the effects of lymphocyte sub-groups of the use of Maraş powder. Method: This study used healthy volunteers, and no smoking or Maras powder control group used healthy volunteers. The blood samples for lymphocyte subsets of the cellular immune system lymphocyte subsets of antibodies were evaluated with Becton Dickinson kits using a flow-cytometrik method.
