Tekfurdağlı Bir Âlim; Osman Nuri Efendi ve İcâzet-nâmesi

Scholars are spiritual architects who have built the religious and scientific life of the community. Hundreds of scholars who have contributed to the rise and continuation of the scientific life during the Ottoman period grew up. One of these was Osman Nuri Efendi who lived in the last period and was found in the muftis of Maydos/Eceabad and Tekirdag. In this study, Osman Nuri Efendi's Documents in the Archive of Meshihat were handled in the light of biography and quizzes. In this frame, Osman Nuri Efendi's translations of the civil servants and the lessons he learned, his fathers, and the certificate he received at the end of his college education.

Âlimler toplumun dinî ve ilmî hayatını inşa eden manevi mimarlarıdır. Osmanlı döneminde ilmî hayatın yükselmesi ve devamına katkıda bulunmuş yüzlerce âlim yetişmiştir. Bunlardan biri de son dönemde yaşamış ve Maydos/Eceabâd ve Tekirdağ müftülüklerinde bulunmuş olan Osman Nuri Efendi'dir. Bu çalışmada Osman Nuri Efendi'nin Meşihat Arşivi'nde bulunan belgeler ışığında terceme-i hali/biyografisi ve icâzetnâmesi ele alınmıştır. Bu çerçevede Osman Nuri Efendi'nin memuriyetleri ve okuduğu dersler, hocaları, tahsilinin sonunda aldığı icazetnamesinin tercümesine yer verilmiştir.
