ACCREDITATION-BASED SUPPLIER SELECTION BY AHP-CRITIC TOPSIS INTEGRATED APPROACH

In today's world, environmental sustainability has been increasingly important issue in the supply chain. Environmental sustainability of a supply chain largely depends on the purchasing strategy of supply chain members. Traditional purchasing strategies put forward cost, quality, delivery time and customer satisfaction as the selection criteria of suppliers. However, criteria which defined with legal regulations to highlight the environmental sustainability have become critical recently for the companies that generate chemical waste. In a manufacturing process involving chemical analysis, effective supply chain with accredited suppliers is essential to keep cost down and to prevent the disruption of production. Therefore, in this study, supplier selection problem for the company manufacturing waste water testing kits to measure health threaths is considered. AHP-CRITIC and TOPSIS methods are utilized in an integrated manner to solve the problem. Data are obtained by a one-to-one interview survey study with suppliers. TOPSIS method’s result gives the most effective supplier for the aforementioned company placed in chemical industry

AHP-KRİTİK TOPSİS BÜTÜNLEŞİK YAKLAŞIMI İLE AKREDİTASYON-TEMELLİ TEDARİKÇİ SEÇİMİ

Öz

Günümüz dünyasında çevresel sürdürülebilirlik konusu tedarik zinciri içerisinde giderek önem kazanmıştır. Bir tedarik zincirinin çevresel sürdürülebilirliği, tedarik zinciri üyelerinin satın alma stratejisine bağlıdır. Geleneksel satın alma stratejileri maliyet, kalite, teslim süresi müşteri memnuniyeti gibi kriterleri tedarikçi seçiminde ön plana çıkarmıştır. Ancak, son zamanlarda çevresel sürdürülebilirliği vurgulayan, yasal uygulamalarla çerçevesi belirlenmiş kriterler; özellikle doğayı tehdit eden kimyasal atıklar oluşturan firmaların akredite olabilmesinde önemli hale gelmiştir. Kimyasal analiz içeren bir üretim sürecinde üretimin aksamaması için maliyetleri düşük tutmak açısından akredite edilmiş etkin bir tedarik zinciri kurulmalıdır. Bu çalışmada, kimya endüstrisinde yer alan bir firma için, atık suyun sağlığı tehdit edip etmediğini ölçümleyen test kiti üreten tedarikçiler arasından seçim problemi ele alınmıştır. Problemin çözümü için Analitik hiyerarşi prosesi AHP -KRİTİK ve TOPSİS yöntemleri bütünleşik olarak kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada veriler, tedarikçilerden birebir görüşmeli anket çalışması ile elde edilmiştir. TOPSİS yönteminin sonucunda kimya sektöründeki bahsi geçen firma için en etkin tedarikçi belirlenmiştir
