Covid-19 pandemisinin antenatal bakım üzerine etkileri

Öz

Amaç: Araştırmamızda pandemi öncesi ve pandemi sırasında polikliniklerimizde gebe takip sıklıkları ve tarama testlerini yaptırma durumlarının karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır.
Metod: Hastanemizde aktif çalışan 10 adet antenatal takip polikliniğinden 3 tanesine 2020 yılının ocak ayına ait 3 gün ve 2021 yılının ocak ayına ait 3 gün içinde giriş yapan gebelerin dosyaları geriye dönük taranmıştır. Elektronik ortamda alınan bilgilerde yaş, gebelik haftası, anöploidi taramaları, yapısal anomalilere yönelik obstetrik ultrasonografi ve diyabet tarama testlerinin yapılıp yapılmadığı not edilmiştir. Gebelerin takip amaçlı hastaneye geliş sayıları da değerlendirmeye alınmıştır.
Bulgular: Araştırmamızda 18-42 yaş arası 257 gebenin dosyası taranmış olup pandemi öncesi 134 ve mevcut durumda 123 gebenin aynı polikliniklerde muayene edildiği görülmüştür. Ortalama antenatal takip sayısı pandemi öncesi 7,25± 4,94 iken mevcut durumda 5,36±3,70 olup aradaki fark anlamlı bulunmuştur(p<0,01). Anoplöidi taraması, obstetrik ultrasonografi, diyabet tarama testi yaptırma durumları ise iki dönem arasında anlamlı farklılık göstermemektedir.
Sonuç: Pandemi sürecinde dünyada ve ülkemizde gebe takip sıklıklarının azaltılması ve gebelerin minimum süre hastanede kalacak şekilde takiplerinin ayarlanması önerilmektedir. Bu bağlamda hastanemiz antenatal polikliniklerine başvuran gebelerin hastaneye başvuru sayıları geçen yılın aynı ayına göre azalmış olup, tarama testlerinde eksiklik yaşanmadığı söylenebilir. Merkezimizde gebe takip sayısını azaltarak, yapılması gereken testleri atlamadan gebe takibi yapmak pandemi sürecinde büyük ölçüde sağlanabilmiştir.

The effect of Covid-19 pandemic on the antenatal care

Öz

Objective: In our study, it was aimed to compare the frequency of pregnancy follow-up and making screening tests in our polyclinics before and during the pandemic.

Method: The files of pregnant women who entered 3 out of 10 antenatal follow-up polyclinics actively working in our hospital within 3 days of January 2020 and 3 days of January 2021 were retrospectively scanned. In the information obtained electronically, whether, it was noted that age, gestational week, aneuploidy screening, obstetric ultrasonography and diabetes screening tests for structural anomalies were performed. The number of pregnant women coming to the hospital for follow-up purposes was also evaluated.

Results: In our study, files of 257 pregnant women between the ages of 18-42 were scanned and it was observed that 134 pregnant women before the pandemic and 123 pregnant women during pandemic were examined in the same polyclinics. While the average antenatal follow-up number was 7,25 ± 4,94 before the pandemic, it was 5,36 ± 3,70 in the current situation, and the difference was found to be significant (p < 0,01). Aneuploidy screening, obstetric ultrasonography, and diabetes screening tests do not make a significant difference between the two periods.


Conclusion: During the pandemic, it is recommended in the world and in our country that to reduce the frequency of pregnancy follow-up and to arrange the follow-up of pregnant women according to stay in the hospital for a minimum period of time. In this context, the number of admissions to the hospital of pregnant women who applied to our hospital's antenatal outpatient clinics has decreased compared to the same month of the previous year, and it can be said that there are no deficiencies in screening tests. By reducing the number of pregnancy follow-ups in our center, it has been achieved to a great extent during the pandemic process, without skipping the required tests.
