SUGAMMADEKS UYGULAMASI ARDINDAN GELİŞEN ANAFİLAKTİK ŞOK VE KARDİYAK ARREST

Öz

Sugammadeks, aminosteroid yapılı nöromüsküler blokörlerin selektif antagonizasyonu amacıyla kullanılan bir ajandır. Genelde neostigmine göre daha güvenli kabul edilmesine rağmen (1), perioperatif dönemde ani hipotansiyon, bradikardi, dolaşım kollapsı ve hatta kardiyak arrest ile seyreden aşırı duyarlılık reaksiyonları bildirilmiştir (2–4). Bu olgu sunumunda, operasyon bitiminde sugammadeks uygulanmasını takiben dakikalar içinde gelişen hemodinamik kollaps, kardiyak arrest ve başarılı resüsitasyon sürecini sunmayı amaçladık.

ANAPHYLACTIC SHOCK AND CARDIAC ARREST FOLLOWING SUGAMMADEX ADMINISTRATION

Öz

Sugammadex selectively antagonizes aminosteroid neuromuscular blockers. Although regarded as safer than neostigmine (1), perioperative hypersensitivity has been reported, presenting with sudden hypotension, bradycardia, circulatory collapse, and cardiac arrest (2–4). We present hemodynamic collapse, cardiac arrest, and successful resuscitation occurring within minutes following sugammadex administration at the end of the operation.
