The purpose ofthispaper isto givesome information aboutthe 82nd IFLA General Conference andAssembly, whichwasheldinColumbus, OhioonAugust13-19 2016 and tobrieflyevaluatetheConference.Thepaperalso presents somegeneralinformationaboutIFLAalong with theabove-mentioned activity. More than 3000 peoplefrom 137 countrieswereparticipated to 82nd IFLAConference,whichwas held in 2016. Althoughthere had been an intensive working program,manysocial events also took place during theConference.Intheclosingceremony the IFLAConference in2018wasannounced to beheldin KualaLumpur Malaysia .Next year'sIFLAConferencewill beheld in Wroclaw, Poland

IFLA 2016’nın Ardından

Öz

Bu yazının amacı 13-19 Ağustos 2016 tarihleri arasında Columbus, Ohio’da düzenlenen 82. IFLA Konferansı hakkında bilgi vermek ve kısa bir şekilde etkinliği değerlendirmektir. Yazıda söz konusu etkinlikle birlikte IFLA hakkında da genel bilgiler sunulmaktadır. 2016 yılında 82.si yapılan IFLA Konferansına 137 ülkeden 3000’i aşkın kişi katılmıştır. Oldukça yoğun geçen IFLA 2016 Konferansı süresinde birçok sosyal etkinlik de gerçekleştirilmiştir. Toplantıda 2018 yılındaki IFLA Konferansı’nın Kuala Lumpur’da Malezya yapılacağı ilan edilmiştir. Gelecek yıl düzenlenecek toplantıya ise Polonya’nın Wroclaw kenti ev sahipliği yapacaktır
