Öz-Konuşma Ve İmgelemenin Hentbol Atış Performansına Etkisi: Deneysel Bir Araştırma

Öz

Araştırmanın amacı, öz-konuşma ve imgeleme antrenman deneyimi olmayan kadın hentbolcularda öz-konuşma ve imgeleme müdahalelerinin hentbol atış performansına etkisini incelemektir. Araştırma, nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden deneysel araştırma modeliyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Deneysel modelde, aynı bireyler üzerinde farklı zaman dilimlerinde uygulanan iki farklı müdahalenin (öz-konuşma ve imgeleme) atış performansına etkisi incelendiği için araştırma deney grubu üzerinden gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma grubunu, amaçsal örnekleme yöntemine göre belirlenen, 2022-2023 sezonu hentbol birinci liginde mücadele eden 14 kadın hentbolcu (yaş 20±2 yıl) oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada veriler, katılımcıların hentbol kalesinde önceden belirlenen hedeflere gerçekleştirdikleri atış performansları (isabetli/isabetsiz) aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin analizinde betimsel (ortalama, standart sapma) ve çıkarımsal (Tekrarlı Ölçümler için Tek Faktörlü ANOVA) istatistiklerden yararlanılmıştır. Bulgular, kadın hentbolcuların müdahalesiz atış performansları ile öz-konuşma ve imgeleme müdahaleleri sonrasındaki atış performansları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılığın olmadığını göstermiştir. Sonuç olarak, öz-konuşma ve imgeleme antrenman deneyimi olmadan, atış performansı öncesinde başvurulan öz-konuşma ve imgelemenin kadın hentbolcuların atış performansı üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisinin olmadığı söylenebilir.

The Effect of Self-Talk and Imagery on Handball Shooting Performance: an Experımental Research

Öz

The aim of the study is to examine the effects of self-talk and imagery interventions on handball shooting performance in female handball players who do not have self-talk and imagery training experience. The research was conducted with the experimental research model, which is one of the quantitative research methods. In the experimental model, the research was carried out on the experimental group, since the effect of two different interventions (self-talk and imagery) applied on the same individuals in different time periods on shooting performance was examined. The research group consisted of 14 female handball players (age 20±2 year) who competed in the handball first league in the 2022-2023 season, determined according to the purposive sampling method. In the research, the data were collected through the shooting performances (accurate/inaccurate) of the participants against the predetermined targets in the handball goal. In the analysis of the data obtained in the research, descriptive (mean, standard deviation) and inferential (Repeated Measures for One-Way ANOVA) statistics were used. The findings showed that there was no statistically significant difference between the non-intervention shooting performances of female handball players and their shooting performances after self-talk and imagery interventions. As a result, it can be said that without self-talk and imagery training experience, the self-talk and imagery applied before the shooting performance do not have a significant effect on the shooting performance of female handball players.
