EXAMINATION OF DISTANCING BETWEEN OPPONENTS AND TEAM PLACEMENT DISTANCE ACCORDING TO MATCH LOCATION, MATCH RESULT AND LEAGE RANKING (TURKISH FOOTBALL SUPER LEAGUE EXAMPLE)

Öz

This study aims to analyze the matches played in the Turkish football super league in terms of distancing between opponents and team placement according to the match location (home-away team), match result (win-loss-draw) and ranking in the league (upper, middle and lower ranking). A total of 1530 matches played in the 2015/2016-2019/2020 seasons (5 seasons) were analyzed. The data were analyzed with the MathBall football match analysis software and all the data obtained were processed in the SPSS package program. Shapiro-Wilk normality test was performed to determine whether the data showed normal distribution, and it was determined that the data were suitable for normal distribution. As a result, the independent sample t-test was performed to compare the matches played in the home and away fields. One-way analysis of variance (Anova) was applied to compare the competitions that resulted in wins, losses and draws, and in the comparison of the teams that completed the league in the top (1-6), middle (7-12) and bottom ranks (13-18). Post-hoc LSD test was performed to determine from which groups the difference originated. When the averages of the 5 seasons played in the super league are examined, it has been determined that the average of distancing between opponents and team placement distancing in the home field and the teams completing the league in the top ranks are found higher and statistically significant than the other groups. As a result, it is thought that the distance between opponents and team placement is very important in order to complete the super league at the top, and that these parameters are frequently studied by football coaches in training, which will contribute to the success of the team.

RAKİP KARŞILAMA MESAFESİ VE TAKIM YERLEŞİM MESAFESİNİN MAÇ KONUMU, MAÇ SONUCU VE LİG SIRALAMASINA GÖRE İNCELENMESİ (TÜRKİYE FUTBOL SÜPER LİGİ ÖRNEĞİ)

Öz

Bu çalışma, Türkiye futbol süper liginde oynanan maçları rakip karşılama mesafesi ve takım yerleşim mesafesi değişkenleri açısından maç konumu (iç saha-dış saha), maç sonucu (galibiyet-mağlubiyet-beraberlik) ve lig sıralamasına göre (ligi üst, orta ve alt sıralarda tamamlayan takımlar) incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada 2015/2016-2019/2020 sezonlarında (5 sezon) oynanan toplam 1530 maçın analizi yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın verileri MathBall futbol maç analiz programı ile analiz edilmiş ve elde edilen tüm veriler SPSS paket programına kaydedilmiştir. Verilerin normal dağılımını belirlemek için Shapiro-Wilk normallik analizi yapılmış ve verilerin normal dağıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Bunun sonucunda da İç saha ve dış sahada oynanan müsabakaların karşılaştırılmasında bağımsız örneklem t testi uygulanmıştır. Galibiyet, mağlubiyet ve beraberlik ile sonuçlanan müsabakaların karşılaştırılmasında ve ligi üst (1-6), orta (7-12) ve alt sıralarda (13-18) tamamlayan takımların karşılaştırılmasında tek yönlü varyans analizi (Anova), gruplar arasında fark çıkması durumunda da farkın kaynaklandığı grubu tespit etmek için post-hoc LSD testi yapılmıştır. Süper ligde oynanan 5 sezonun ortalamalarına bakıldığında, iç sahada oynayan takımların ve ligi üst sıralarda tamamlayan takımların rakip karşılama ve takım yerleşim mesafe ortalamalarının diğer gruplardan daha yüksek ve aynı zamanda istatistiksel olarak da anlamlı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, süper ligi üst sıralarda tamamlayabilmek için rakip karşılama ve takım yerleşim mesafesinin oldukça önemli olduğu ve futbol antrenörleri tarafından bu parametrelerin antrenmanlarda sıklıkla üzerinde durulmasının takım başarısına katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
