Bibliometric Profile Analysis of Recreational Sports

Öz

In this study, bibliometric characteristics of studies on Recreational Sports were analyzed with the Biblioshiny interface in R programming language. Within the scope of this study, the development levels of studies on recreational sports on the basis of year, author, subject, country, and university were discussed, and answers were sought to the questions of what are the most effective studies in the context of recreational sports, recreational sports and recreational activities, and which concepts were developed. Looking at the results of the analysis, it was determined that there were 519 articles on 'recreational sports' in the WOS database between 1980 and 2024, and 2119 authors contributed to these articles. When the articles produced in the subject area related to recreational sports were analyzed, it was determined that the most published year range on the subject was 2018-2024. It was determined as a result of the data that the most productive author is Peter J. Millett. The country with the most articles on the subject was found to be the United States of America. The keywords frequently used by the authors were exercise, physical activity, health, and performance. In recent years, the most trending words were 'experiences', 'guidelines', and 'elite'.

Rekreasyonel Sporların Bibliyometrik Profil Analizi

Öz

Bu çalışmada, R programlama dilinde Biblioshiny arayüzü ile Rekreasyonel Sporlar üzerine yapılan araştırmaların bibliyometrik özellikleri analiz edilmiştir. Bu çalışma kapsamında rekreasyonel sporlar ile ilgili çalışmaların yıl, yazar, konu, ülke ve üniversite bazında gelişmişlik düzeyleri ele alınmış, rekreasyonel spor, rekreasyonel sporlar ve rekreasyonel aktiviteler konuları bağlamında en etkili çalışmaların neler olduğu, hangi kavramların geliştirildiği sorularına yanıt aranmıştır. Yapılan analiz sonuçlarına bakıldığında WOS veri tabanında 1980 – 2024 yılları arasında ‘ rekreasyonel sporlar’ ile ilgili 519 makale olduğu tespit edilmiş ve bu makalelere 2119 yazar tarafından katkı sağlanmıştır. Rekreasyonel spor ile ilgili konu alanında üretilen makaleler incelendiğinde konuyla ilgili en çok yayın yapılan yıl aralığı 2018 – 2024 olarak saptanmıştır. En üretken yazar Peter J. Millett olduğu veriler sonucu tespit edilmiştir. Konuyla ilgili en fazla makaleye sahip ülke Amerika Birleşik Devlet’i olduğu görülmüştür. Yazarlar tarafından sıklıkla kullanılan anahtar kelimeler, egzersiz, fiziksel aktivite, sağlık ve performans kelimeleri olmuştur. son yıllarda ise en çok trend olan kelimeler ‘deneyimler (experiences)’, ‘yönergeler (guidelines)’ ve ‘elit (elite)’ gibi kavramlar olduğu saptanmıştır.
