Filling Cystometry In Adults

Abstract

Modern urodynamic studies are clinically used in Turkey for years, thus a large amount of clinical and scientific work can be done. Although, it is thought that adult urodynamic studies mostly performed in urologic field, in fact it is widely used in many clinics such as gynecology, physical therapy and rehabilitation and neurology. Despite the increasing use of urodynamics in many clinics, it is still difficult to assess the urodynamic results by clinicians. The aim of this report is to contribute to our colleagues for better evaluating and understanding the results of urodynamic investigations. Key words: Urodynamics; Bladder; Adult.

Erişkinlerde Dolum Sistometrisi Çalışmaları

Öz

Türkiye'de modern ürodinamik çalışmalar klinik olarak yıllardır kullanılmakta, böylece birçok klinik ve bilimsel çalışma yapılabilmektedir. Erişkin ürodinamik çalışmaların çoğunlukla ürolojik alanda uygulanıldığı düşünülmesine rağmen, gerçekte jinekoloji, fizik tedavi ve rehabilitasyon, nöroloji gibi birçok klinikçe de yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Ürodinaminin birçok klinikte giderek artan kullanımına rağmen, klinisyenlerce sonuçların değerlendirilmesinde hala zorluklar yaşanmaktadır. Bu çalışma da, ürodinamik incelemelerin sonuçlarının meslektaşlarımızca daha iyi değerlendirilmesine ve anlaşılmasına katkıda bulunulması amaçlanmaktadır.
