Öz

Üstün yeteneklilik, içinde bir sürü karmaşıklığı barındıran gelişimsel ve davranışsal bir bozukluktur. Bilişsel alanda üstün yetenekleri olan çocuklar ve aileleri, çocuk hekimlerine zor ve kafa karıştırıcı sorunlarla başvurabilmektedir. Üstün yetenekli çocukları erken yaşta tanımak, ailelerin ve çocuklarının karşılaşabilecekleri sorunları bilmek ve çözüm bulmak çocuk hekiminin görevleri arasındadır. A Pediatric Approach to the Gıfted Child

Öz

Giftedness is hardly a developmental behavioral disorder. Children who are cognitively talented apply to pediatricians with perplexing challenges with their families. Diagnosing the gifted children at early ages, knowing the problems of these children and the families and findingsolutions are one of the tasks of pediatricians.
