Öz
Açık kalp operasyonu gerektiren hastalıklar, servikal sempatektomi gerektiren hastalıklarla birlikte olduğu zaman, median sternotomi insizyonuyla heriki işlem aynı seansta yapılabilir. Bu yazıda mitral stenoz ve raynoud hastalığı tanısıyla operasyona alınan ve median sternotomi insizyonuyla operasyon başlatılarak aynı seansta sırasıyla servikal sempatektomi ve mitral valve replasmanı operasyonları gerçekleştirilen 76 yaşında kadın hasta vaka olarak sunulmuştur. Postoperatif seyir normal olmuştur ve hasta yedinci gün hastaneden taburcu edilmiştir. Bu prosedürün uygulanmasına literatürde rastlanmamıştır. Sonuç olarak bu iki farklı hastalık grubu için median sternotomi ile tek seansta cerrahi girişimin emin bir yöntem olduğu kanısına varıldı. Öz
Diseases that need open heart surgery may coincide with the diseases which can be treated with cervical sympathectomy. These two different operations can be performed at the same session through a median sternotomy. In this case report, we present a case of 76 years old female with mitral stenosis and Raynaud disease which were operated in one session. She was operated through a median sternotomy and cervical sympathectomy and mitral valve replacement were performed consecutively at the same stage There were no postoperative complications and she was symptom-free after the operation. The patient was discharged from the hospital on the seventh day of the operation. We couldn't meet that kind of an operation procedure in the literature. It's concluded that one stage operations through median sternotomy for these two different diseases can be done safely. Key words: Raynaud disease, cervical sympathectomy, open heart surgery
