Psikolojik Sağlamlık, Risk Faktörleri ve Koruyucu Faktörler

Öz

Olumsuz yaşantılar karşısında güçlü kalabilmek olarak tanımlanabilecek psikolojik sağlamlık kavramı güncel ve önem taşıyan bir konu olarak göze çarpmaktadır. Psikolojik sağlamlık (resilience), bir olumsuzluk durumu ile karşı karşıya kalındığında, risk faktörleri ve koruyucu faktörlerin etkileşimi sonucu oluşan süreçte, bireyin hayatındaki değişikliğe uyum göstermesini içermektedir. Psikolojik sağlamlıkla ilgili yapılan çalışmalar risk karşısında bireyin uyum göstermesi üzerine odaklanmıştır. Stresli yaşam olaylarının neden olduğu risk faktörleri ve riskin olumsuz etkilerini hafifleten koruyucu faktörler, gelişimsel bir süreç olarak da tanımlanan psikolojik sağlamlık kavramına katkıda bulunmaktadırlar. Bu çalışmada, psikolojik sağlamlık kavramının tanımlanması, risk ve faktörleri ile koruyucu faktörlerin açıklanması ve psikolojik sağlamlık kavramı ile ilgili araştırma sonuçlarının özetlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır
