The Assessment Of Curriculum By The Teachers Graduated From The Department Of Elementary Education Of Trakya University

Abstract

The aim of this study is to get the opinions of the students who graduated from University of Trakya Faculty of Education Department of Elementary Education about the program of classroom teacher training. This study was performed by the graduated students and the teachers who are still teaching and graduated from university between 1998-2004 with the point that the students in the system will not be satisfactorily evaluate the program of classroom teacher training. As a result of the research, there was a significant difference in the opinions of the teachers according to sexuality and year of duty. And also it was seen that teachers came across some diffuculties in official writings, classroom managment, language problem, guidance, lack of application and cultural differences.

Trakya Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği Mezunu Öğretmenlerin Program Değerlendirmesi

Öz

Bu araştırmanın amacı, T.Ü Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği Anabilim Dalı’ndan mezun öğretmenlerin; sınıf öğretmeni yetiştirme programına ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Sistem içerisinde yer alan öğrencilerin sınıf öğretmeni yetiştirme programını sağlıklı olarak değerlendiremeyecekleri noktasından hareketle araştırma 1998 – 2004 yılları arasında fakülteden mezun olan ve halen öğretmenlik yapan 130 sınıf öğretmeni üzerinde yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, öğretmenlerin yetiştirme programı hakkındaki görüşleri cinsiyet ve hizmet süresine göre anlamlı bir fark gösterdiği, ayrıca resmi yazışmalar, sınıf yönetimi, dil sorunu, rehberlik, uygulama eksikliği ve kültürel farklılıklar konularında öğretmenlerin çeşitli zorluklarla karşılaştıkları görülmüştür
