Assessing the Role of Work-Life Balance and Flexibility for Employee Well-Being

The present article is aimed at critically discussing the reviewing the impact of flexibility and work-life balance on employee well-being. Both aspects have been analyzed and with the extensive analysis of the existing theoretical domain. That is to say, the indicators and importance of healthy work-life balance have been discussed. Furthermore, the phenomenon of personal and organization-driven flexibility and its impact on well-being or personnel have also been considered. The causal relationship has been supported between healthy work-life balance and employees’ well-being as well as the role of flexibility in forming and creation of well-being.

Bu makale, esneklik ve iş-yaşam dengesinin çalışan refahı üzerindeki etkisinin gözden geçirilmesini eleştirel bir şekilde tartışmayı amaçlamaktadır. Her iki yön de analiz edilmiş ve mevcut teorik alanın kapsamlı analizi yapılmıştır. Yani sağlıklı iş-yaşam dengesinin göstergeleri ve önemi tartışılmıştır. Ayrıca, kişisel ve organizasyona dayalı esneklik olgusu ve bunun refah veya personel üzerindeki etkisi de dikkate alınmıştır. Sağlıklı iş-yaşam dengesi ile çalışanların refahı arasındaki nedensellik ilişkisinin yanı sıra, refahın oluşturulmasında ve yaratılmasında esnekliğin rolü desteklenmiştir.
