Objective: In this study, it was aimed that the variety of the products examined within the scope of the market surveillance of biocidal products performed. Method: In this study planned to be of a descriptive nature, the data were obtained through a retrospective examination of the biocidal product inspection forms filled out in the City of Çorum within the scope of the Legislation of Biocidal Products dated 2013-14. Findings: In the course of the studies performed, it was determined that an inspection of a total of 205 biocidal products had been made during the years 2013-14. When the distributions of these products according to the groups of biocidal products were analyzed, it was ascertained, most frequently with 126 products(% 61,5), that an inspection on the products, such as insecticides, acaricides and those used in controlling other arthropods had been made. Then comes, with 43 products(%20,9), the disinfectant agents and biocidal products, and also with 21 products(%10,2), rodenticides, which are all used in personal and public fields. Less frequently, there are – with 6 products (%2,9) – biocidal products for human hygiene, and again, with siz products(%2,9), there are repellents and deterrents, the inspection of all of which was determined to have been made. Of the biocidal products, an inspection on only two of the wood preservatives was made, whereas only one product out of masonry preservatives was inspected. Result: In this study, it was determined that the biocidal products examined and analyzed within the scope of the market surveillance and inspection did not contain all types of products included in the Legislation of Biocidal Products. Even though the frequent sale of a product is a significant reason for selection during those inspections, it is recommended that inspections that will involve all the biocidal types of products be made.
