Asprosinin Obeziteyle İlişkisi ve Beslenmenin Asprosin Seviyelerine Etkisi

Öz

Obezite artan prevalansı ile dünyada yaygın bir halk sağlığı problemi haline gelmiştir. Obezite prevalansının düşürülmesine yönelik tedavi stratejilerine artan bir ilgi vardır. Asprosin esas olarak beyaz adipoz dokuda üretilip salgılanan ve iştahı uyaran bir hormonal adipokin türüdür. Obezitede adipokinlerin üretim ve salınım profilinde dengesizlikler söz konusu olabilir. Adipoz dokudan artmış asprosin ekspresyonunun obezite için bağımsız bir risk faktörü olduğu belirtilmektedir. Artmış asprosin ekspresyonu aynı zamanda endoplazmik retikulum stres, inflamasyon ve insülin direnci ile ilişkilendirilmiştir. Asprosin üretimi ve salınımı, beslenme durumuyla koordineli olarak sirkadiyen ritmiklik gösterir. Beslenme ve diyet müdahalelerinin asprosin düzeyine etkisine ilişkin klinik çalışmalar yetersizdir. Bu derleme makalede bazı besin ögelerinin asprosin düzeyleri ile ilişkisi incelenecektir.

The Relationship Between Asprosin and Obesity and the Effect of Nutrition on Asprosin Levels

Öz

Obesity has become a common public health problem in the world with its increasing prevalence. There is increasing interest in treatment strategies to reduce the prevalence of obesity. Asprosin is a type of hormonal adipokine that is produced and secreted mainly in white adipose tissue and stimulates appetite. In obesity, there may be imbalances in the production and release profile of adipokines. It is stated that increased asprosin expression from adipose tissue is an independent risk factor for obesity. Increased asprosin expression has also been associated with endoplasmic reticulum stress, inflammation and insulin resistance. Asprosin production and release exhibit circadian rhythmicity in coordination with nutritional status. Clinical studies on the effect of nutrition and dietary interventions on asprosin levels are insufficient. In this review article, the relationship between some nutrients and asprosin levels will be examined.
