Ulusal ve Uluslararası Ölçekte Kapalı Konut Sitesi Çalışmalarının Bibliyometrik Profili

Öz

20. yüzyılın sonunda öncelikle Amerika’da, sonrasında dünya genelinde ortaya çıkan kapalı konut siteleri, öncekilerden farklı bir barınma modeli ve kentsel büyüme formudur. Bu doğrultuda, dünya literatüründe postmodernite, tüketim kültürü ve neoliberal politikaları içeren kuramsal bir çerçeve dâhilinde derin bir sosyolojik arka planla birlikte tartışılmaktadırlar. Fakat kapalı konut siteleri hakkındaki literatür üzerine veri dökümü yapan az sayıda çalışma bulunmaktadır. Bu literatürün sistematik olarak incelenmesi konusundaki eksikliğin yanı sıra, buna ilişkin denemelerin üzerinden uzun bir zaman dilimi geçmiş olması, bir güncellemeye ihtiyaç olduğunu göstermektedir. Alandaki literatür 2000 sonrasında artan bir ivmeyle çoğalmış olsa da, son birkaç yılda araştırmacıların ilgisinin göreceli olarak azaldığı gözlenmektedir. Ancak kapalı konut siteleri kentler için önemini korumakta, kenti tüm boyutları ile dönüştürmeye devam etmektedir. Bu çalışmada, kapalı konut siteleri hakkındaki literatür bibliyometrik analiz yöntemiyle incelenmiş; elde edilen araştırma bulguları aracılığıyla, kapalı konut siteleri hakkında dünya genelindeki temel eğilimler, araştırma odakları, bağlantılar ve eksiklikleri ortaya konmuştur. Sonuç olarak, gerek uluslararası gerekse de ulusal literatürde son dönemde konuya olan ilginin azaldığı net olarak tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca kapalı konut sitelerinin doğal alanlarda yarattığı tahribata dikkat çekilmesi ve farklı kulvarlardaki araştırmacıların alana ilişkin somut çözüm önerileri üzerine yoğunlaşması gerekliliği alandaki temel eksiklikler olarak ortaya konmuştur.

Bibliometric Profile Of Gated Communities Studies in National and International Scale

Öz

At the end of the 20th century, the gated communities, which emerged first in the United States and then around the world, are a new housing form presentation and urban growth model, different than the previous ones. In this direction, they are discussed with a deep sociological background through a theoretical framework that includes postmodernity, consumer culture and neoliberal policies in the world literature. However, there are few studies that dump data on the literature on gated communities. In addition to the lack of systematic review of this literature, the fact that a long period of time has passed since the trials related to this literature shows that an update is needed. Although the literature in the field has an increasing momentum after 2000, it is observed that the interest of researchers has decreased relatively in the last few years. However, gated communities maintain their importance for cities and continue to transform the city with all dimensions. In this study, the literature on gated communities was examined by bibliometric analysis method; the main trends, research focuses, links and shortcomings about topic around the world have been revealed. As a result, it has been clearly determined that the interest in the subject has decreased recently in both international and national literature. In addition, drawing attention to the destruction caused by gated communities in natural areas and the necessity of researchers from different lanes to focus on concrete solution proposals for the area have been revealed as the main deficiencies in the field.
