A STUDY UPON THE EFFECT OF CLOCKWISE AND ANTICLOCKWISE DIRECTION RUNNING IN ATHLETICS ON RUNNING TIME OF RUNNERS

Öz

The aim of this study is to compare the clockwise running athletes and anti-clockwise running athletes in two different distances. In the

study, comparative research method was utilized among the non-empirical research methods that are used in order to determine whether

there is a difference between two or more groups or phenomenon. 18 male long distance sportsmen aged between 18-20 have attended the

study voluntarily. The results have been obtained from the competitions held every other day in order for the sportsmen to stay in sportsmen

camp training centre affiliated to Ağrı Provincial Directorate of Sports which is of crucial importance for the sportsmen. Sportsmen having

got ready through 1 hour and 40 minutes warming up prior to 200 m and 1500 m competitions successively attended the competitions. The

statistical analysis of the running times between the 200 meters clockwise and anti-clockwise and between the 1500 meters clockwise and

anti-clockwise made by using R 3.2.3 package programme. The descriptive statistics belong to continuous variables were given as mean,

standard deviation, median, the minimum and the maximum values in the study Compliance with the normal distribution of continuous

variables were analysed by Shapiro Wilk test. The comparison of dependent variables were also analysed by the Wilcoxon test. In the

statistical comparisons the comparisons under the p values of 0,05 were considered significant statically. Looking at scores of Athletes

running 200 meters and 1500 meters, anti-clockwise degrees has been found that having better results.

ATLETİZMDE SAAT YÖNÜ VE TERSİ KOŞMANIN, ATLETLERİN KOŞU SÜRELERİNE OLAN ETKİSİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Öz

Sürekli saat yönünün tersine koşan atletlerin saat yönünde koşarak iki farklı mesafede elde edilen dereceler arasındaki farkların incelenmesi

amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada; iki veya daha fazla grup veya olgu arasında farklılık olup olmadığını araştırmak için kullanılan, deneysel olmayan

araştırma desenlerinden karşılaştırmalı yöntem kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmaya yaşları 18-20 arası olan 18 Erkek orta ve uzun mesafe sporcusu

gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Elde edilen dereceler atletler açısından son derece önemli olan Ağrı gençlik ve Spor il Müdürlüğü bünyesindeki

sporcum kap eğitim merkezinde kalmak için birer gün ara ile yapılan yarışma sonucunda elde edilmiştir. Sporcular 200mt yarışı öncesi 1

saat, 1500mt yarışı için ise 40dk ısındıktan sonra hazır hale gelerek yarışmaya katılmışlardır. Yarışma esnasında sporcular 200mt yarışı için

kulvarlı ve ikişer kişi 1500mt yarışında ise tüm sporcular tek seri halinde koşturulmuşlardır. Sporcuların dereceleri 4 hakem tarafından el

kronometresi kullanılarak tespit edilmiş, başhakemin tutmuş olduğu dereceler dikkate alınmıştır. 200 metre saat yönünde koşu süreleri ile

200 metre saat yönü tersi koşu süreleri arasında ve 1500 metre saat yönündeki koşu ile 1500 metre saat yönü tersi koşu süreleri arasındaki

istatistiksel analizleri R 3.2.3 paket programında değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmadaki sürekli değişkenlere ait tanımlayıcı istatistikler ortalama,

standart sapma, medyan, minimum ve maksimum değerleriyle verilmiştir. Sürekli değişkenlerin normal dağılıma uygunluğu Shapiro Wilk

testi ile incelenmiştir. Bağımlı değişkenlerin karşılaştırmaları da Wilcoxon testi ile incelenmiştir. Çalışmadaki istatistiksel karşılaştırmalarda

p değeri 0,05’in altındaki değerler istatistiksel olarak anlamlı kabul edilmiştir. Sporcuların 200 metre ve 1500 metre derecelerine

bakıldığında saat yönü tersi derecelerinin daha iyi sonuçlandığı tespit edilmiştir.
