THE PLACE OF AUGMENTED REALITY IN THE FIELDS OF DESIGN AND ART

Öz

Art and design are defined by the limitless potential of innovation and imagination, and these characteristics are the main reasons why these fields are constantly evolving. This evolutionary process is closely related to technological developments, so much so that innovative products that emerge at the intersection of technology and design manifest themselves in many distinct aspects of daily life. Augmented reality (AR) technology has brought a new perspective to the field of design and made the integration of real and virtual worlds possible. The applications of this technology in the field of art are new, and this offers Artists the opportunity to discover new dimensions in their works and push the limits of creativity.
This study aims to examine the applications, effects, and potential of AR technology in the fields of design and art by using literature review and logical reasoning methods. For this reason, it adopts an interdisciplinary methodology to identify, evaluate and discuss the various applications and effects of this technology in the fields of art and design.
In this context, the focus of the research is to examine the effects of the use of AR technology in the fields of art and design, providing multi-dimensional experiences to works, diversifying audience interactions and expanding the limits of creativity.

TASARIM VE SANAT ALANLARINDA ARTIRILMIŞ GERÇEKLİĞİN YERİ

Öz

Sanat ve tasarım, yenilikçilik ve hayal gücünün sınırsız potansiyelleri ile tanımlanır ve bu özellikler, bu alanların sürekli evrim geçirmesinin temel nedenlerindendir. Bu evrimsel süreç, teknolojik gelişmelerle yakından ilişkilidir, öyle ki teknoloji ve tasarımın kesiştiği noktada ortaya çıkan yenilikçi ürünler, günlük yaşamın birçok farklı yönünde kendini göstermektedir. Özellikle Artırılmış gerçeklik (AR) teknolojisi, tasarım alanına yeni bir perspektif kazandırmış ve gerçek ile sanal dünyaların entegrasyonunu mümkün kılmıştır, söz konusu teknolojisinin sanat alanındaki uygulamaları nispeten yenidir ve bu durum, Sanatçılara eserlerinde yeni boyutlar keşfetme ve yaratıcılık sınırlarını zorlama fırsatı sunmaktadır.
Bu çalışma, literatür incelemesi ile mantıksal akıl yürütme yöntemlerini kullanarak AR teknolojisinin tasarım ve sanat alanlarındaki uygulamalarını, etkilerini ve potansiyellerini incelemeyi hedeflemektedir. Bu nedenle söz konusu teknolojisinin sanat ve tasarım alanlarındaki çeşitli uygulamalarını ve etkilerini belirlemek, değerlendirmek ve tartışmak üzere disiplinlerarası bir metodoloji benimsemektedir.
Bu kapsamda, Araştırmanın odağı, sanat ve tasarım alanlarında AR teknolojisinin kullanımının eserlere çok boyutlu deneyimler sunmasına, izleyici etkileşimlerinin çeşitlenmesine ve yaratıcılık sınırlarının genişlemesine olanak tanımasının etkileri incelemektir.
