ULUM Journal of Religious Inquiries 2/1 (July 2019)

Dear Readers, 

ULUM  Journal of Religious Inquiriesis a new academic refereed journal dedicated to publishing articles, essays, translations, symposium reviews, and book reviews primarily within the fields of Religious and Islamic Studies. ULUM is published twice a year in July and December and adopts the double-blind peer-review process. There are at least two reviewers for the total number of articles in each issue. In addition, all articles are checked by iThenticatesoftware in order to confirm that they are unpublished and avoid plagiarism. ULUM accepts paper submission from researchers with only doctoral degrees in research articles and book reviews. ULUM requires writers to use the Isnad Citation Style. 

We are delighted to offer you high-quality original research papers in various themes and topics with the current issue. The articles are related to studies that focus on different aspects of social and religious issues. Before leaving you alone with these valuable articles, as the editor of ULUM, I am thankful to all those scholars and the members of the editorial board for their dedication, cooperation, and assistance. Also, I would like to congratulate my colleagues for their success for the 3 rd issue of ULUM with the hope that your contributions would go on.

ULUM Dini Tetkikler Dergisi, 31 Temmuz ve 31 Aralık tarihlerinde yılda iki sayı olarak yayınlanan uluslararası akademik bir dergidir. ULUM,dini araştırmalar alanına dair makale, kitap kritiği ve sempozyum değelendirmesi gibi çalışmaları yayınlamayı ve  kamuoyu ile paylaşmayı amaçlamaktadır. Dergiye gönderilen makaleler çift taraflı kör hakemlik ilkesi çerçevesinde hakem değerlendirmesinden geçirilmekte ve iThenticate programı ile intihal taramasına tabi tutulmaktadır. Dergiye gönderilen çalışmalarda İsnad Atıf Sistemi'nin kullanılmasını da gerekli görülmektedir.

Sizlere bu sayımızda dini konulara dair birbirinden dikkat çekici makaleleri sunmaktan mutluluk duymaktayım. Bu değerli makalelerle sizleri yalnız bırakmadan önce, ULUM editörü olarak yazarlarımıza, hakemlerimize, alan editörlerimize ve Yayın Kurulu üyelerimize teşekkürü bir borç bilirim. Ayrıca ULUM’un 3’üncü sayısında değerli çalışmalarına yer verilen meslektaşlarımı başarılarından dolayı kutlar, katkılarının devamını dilerim.
