Bir Köpekte Pancarpal Artrodez Uygulaması

Öz

The aim of this case report is to discribe domestic dog with purulent panartritis after bitten wound in right carpal joint. Treatment was continued until the infection is taken under control. Artrodesis was performed 20 days after medical treatment. Carpal bones were necrosis and granulation tissue formed. Rush pin method was applied II. , III. and V. metacarpal bones, plate technique was performed IV. metacarpus. Treatment was continued in the postoperative period. In this report, appropriate medical treatment and operative procedures performed in a long time of purulent panartritis and it may have a functionel recovery.

Bir Köpekte Pancarpal Artrodez Uygulaması

Öz

Bu olguda; U.Ü Veteriner Fakültesi Cerrahi Kliniğine ısırılma şikâyeti ile getirilen bir köpeğin sağ art. carpi’sinde oluşan Panartritis Purulenta olgusu ve sağaltımı sunulmuştur. Sağaltıma enfeksiyon kontrol altına alınıncaya kadar medikal olarak devam edildi. Yaklaşık 20 günde bölgedeki mortifiye kemik ve yumuşak dokular elimine olup sağlıklı granülasyon dokusu oluştuktan sonra Radius’un distal ucu ve mtc II, III, IV, V’ in proximal uçları kesilerek Rezeksiyon Artrodez operasyonu gerçekleştirildi. Karpal sıra kemikler nekroze olup bölgeden elimine edildikleri için II., III. ve V. metacarpus kemikleri rush pin fiksasyon yöntemi ile IV. metacarpus ise plaka tekniği ile Radius’ tespit edildiler. Postoperatif olarak tedavisine devam edildi ve hastada 1,5 ay sonra klinik iyileşme gerçekleşti. Sonuç olarak, böyle bir Panartritis Purulenta olgusunda sağaltım uzun sürede gerçekleştirilse de uygun medikal ve operatif girişimler ile fonksiyonel bir iyileşmenin olabileceği kanısına varıldı.
