Augmentation Techniques Used İn Oral İmplantology

Öz

In modern dentistry, the loss of function, phonation, and aesthetics caused by the loss of teeth are treated with dental implants. An essential criterion for the success of dental implants is the adequate quality and volume of the hard and soft tissues surrounding the implant. Adverse conditions in the alveolar bone due to local and systemic factors such as prolonged edentulism, trauma, and periodontal disease will cause bone deficiencies in the bone volume's horizontal, vertical, and sagittal planes. Various augmentation techniques have been developed to eliminate these deficiencies in the alveolar bone, position the dental implants appropriately, and provide the ideal aesthetics of the restoration to be made. It should be kept in mind that correct preoperative diagnosis, planning, appropriate surgical technique, and patient follow-up are important for optimum success in dental implants.

Oral İmplantolojide Kullanılan Ögmentasyon Teknikleri

Öz

Modern diş hekimliğinde dişlerin kaybı ile oluşan fonksiyon, fonasyon ve estetik kaybı dental implantlar ile tedavi edilmeye çalışılır. Uygulanan dental implanların başarısında implantı çevreleyen sert ve yumuşak dokuların yeterli kalite ve hacimde olması önemli bir ölçüttür. Uzun süren dişsizlikler, travma, periodontal hastalık gibi lokal ve sistemik etkenler sonucu alveolar kemikte oluşan olumsuz koşullar kemik hacminde horizontal, vertikal ve sagital düzlemde kemik yetersizliklerine neden olacaktır. Alveolar kemikteki bu eksiklikleri gidermek, dental implantların uygun pozisyonlandırılması ve yapılacak restorasyonun ideal estetiğinin sağlanması amacı ile çeşitli ögmentasyon teknikleri geliştirilmiştir. Bu tekniklerde başarının sağlanabilmesi için tanının doğru konulması, iyi bir planlama yapılması, uygun cerrahi tekniğin seçilmesi ve hasta takibi oldukça önemlidir.
