In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is one of the important countries of the Middle East, efforts have been initiated to restructure the country's economy under the leadership of Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who was declared crown prince in 2017. First, the next 15-year strategy of the country, “Saudi Vision 2030” project, was set. “Saudi Vision 2030”, a comprehensive strategic planning project, aims to reduce the country's dependence on petrol, diversify its economy, and develop public service sectors such as health, education, infrastructure, culture and tourism. Within the framework of the “Vision 2030” project, it is planned to implement visionary projects in the fields of cultural heritage, tourism and museology. The aim of this study is to reveal the developments of the country in the field of museology within the framework of this policy. In this context, first of all, important museums of Saudi Arabia were examined, then innovations made in these museums and newly established museums with the "Saudi Vision 2030" program were discussed. Inferences about current cultural heritage and museology studies in Saudi Arabia were drawn by researching the museum projects that are planned to be established and in the design phase.
