This paper explores the interconnection between international trade and logistics through a comprehensive perspective. The globalization process has significantly expanded the movement of goods and services, transforming logistics from a narrow focus on transportation into a broader framework that involves supply chain management, warehousing, customs procedures, and the integration of digital technologies. The study emphasizes the role of international trade in promoting economic growth, interdependence, and competitiveness, while underlining the contribution of logistics to continuity, cost reduction, and efficiency in trade operations. Furthermore, it discusses challenges arising from geopolitical tensions, trade barriers, climate change, and global crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The research highlights that sustainability, green logistics practices, and digital innovations (including blockchain, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things) will play a decisive role in shaping the future of the sector. Overall, the paper concludes that international trade and logistics form a strategic domain encompassing not only economic aspects but also social and environmental dimensions.
