Pollution Investigation and Using Multi-electrod Resistivity Method at Kocaeli University Campus

Abstract

Multi electrode rezistivity tomography studies have been conducted near BESYO location at Kocaeli university campus, in order to investigate oil pollution. The ground was polluted pouring 20 lt. at a point in the investigation area. The resistivity tomographic cross-sections were obtained using Shchlumberger, WennerAlfa and Dipole-Dipole electrode configurations along the profiles crossing the polluted region. The polluted area was observed in these cross-sections having 20-32.4 ohm-m rezistivity values with the length of 0.75 m and depth of 0.5 m The resistivity values of polluted region in inverse solution tomographic cross-section were higher than those in forward modeling

Kocaeli Üniversitesi BESYO Yerleşkesinde Yapılan Özdirenç Yöntemiyle Kirlilik Araştırması

Öz

Kocaeli ili, İzmit ilçesi, Umuttepe BESYO’da halı sahalarının yanında kirlilik araştırması yapmak amacıyla çoklu elektrotlu özdirenç yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Yere dökülen 20 litre mazotun yer içinde kirlettiği alan çoklu elektrotlu özdirenç çalışmasıyla incelenmiştir. Schlumberger, Wenner-Alfa, Dipol-Dipol elektrot sistemleri kullanılarak yeraltı kesitleri çıkartılmıştır. Kesitler üzerinde kirlenmiş bölgenin özdirenci 20-32.4 ohm-m arasında belirlenmiş olup, genişliği yaklaşık 0.75 m ve derinliği ise 0.5 m olarak tespit edilmiştir. Ters çözüm tomografilerinde belirlenen kirli alanların özdirençleri düz çözümde elde edilen değerlere göre biraz daha yüksek çıkmıştır
