Nöroloji Yoğun Bakım Ünitelerinde Yatan İnmeli Hastalarda Basınç Ülserleri

Öz

Nöroloji yoğun bakım ünitelerinde yatan inmeli hastalarda basınç ülserleri önemli bir sorundur. Basınç ülserlerinin önlenmesi hemşirelerin so- rumluluğu altındadır. Önleme stratejileri risk tanı- lama, basıncın etkisini azaltma, beslenme duru- munu değerlendirme, hastaları uzun süreli yat- ma ve oturma pozisyonundan koruma, deri bü- tünlüğünü sürdürme gibi eylemleri içermektedir. Basınç ülserlerinin tedavi ilkeleri, risk değerlen- dirme, basınç ve sürtünmeyi azaltma, en üst dü- zeyde yara bakımı yapma, bakteriyel kontami- nasyonu tedavi etme ve beslenme yetersizliğini gidermedir. Bu makale, inmeli hastalardaki ba- sınç ülserlerinde etyolojik faktörler, risk değer- lendirmesi, basınç ülserlerinin önlenmesi ve te- davisini irdelemektedir

Pressure Ulcers in Stroke Patients in Neurological İntensive Care Units

Abstract

Pressure ulcers are an important problem in stroke patients in neurological intensive care units. The prevention of pressure ulcers has been considered as a nursing responsibility. The strate- gy for prevention includes recognizing the risk, decreasing the effects of pressure, assessing nutritional status, avoiding excessive bed rest and prolonged sitting, and preserving the integrity of the skin. The principles of treatment of pressure ulcers include assessing severity, reducing pres- sure friction and shear forces, optimizing local wound care, removing necrotic debris, managing bacterial contamination, and correcting nutritional deficits. This article is about etiological factors, risk assessment, prevention, and treatment of pressure ulcers in stroke patients
