Öz
Büyük azı keser hipomineralizasyonu (BAKH), sıklıkla daimi keser dişlerinin de eşlik ettiği, hipomineralize defektlerin göz- lendiği gelişimsel bir mine anomalisidir. Son yıllarda BAKH için belirlenen tanı kriterleri süt ikinci azı dişlerinde de gözlenmiş ve bu dişlerin ileride BAKH için bir gösterge olduğu düşünül- müştür. BAKH görülen çocukların tedavi sürecinde diş hekim- leri sıklıkla BAKH’ın teşhis edilmesi ve doğru tedavi yöntemine karar verme konusunda problem yaşamaktadır. Bu derlemenin amacı, BAKH tanısının konulması, meydana gelmesinde rol oynayan etiyolojik faktörler ve tedavi seçeneklerinin değerlen- dirilmesidir.
