Mersin Körfezinde Torquigener flavimaculosus Hardy & Randall, 1983 (Osteıchthyes: Tetraodontıdae)’un Varlığının Bildirimi

Öz

Tetraodontidae ailesi içerisinde yer alan ve lesepsiyen bir tür olan Torquigener flavimaculosus Hardy & Randall, 1983 türünün Türkiye kıyılarındaki varlığı, ilk olarak 2005 yılında Akdeniz kıyılarımızda Fethiye Körfezi’nde belirlenmiştir. İndo-Pasifik orijinli olan bu türün, güneydoğu Ege kıyılarına (Rodos Adası) kadar yayılım gösterdiği bilinmektedir. Bu çalışma ile söz konusu tür, Mersin Körfezi’nde de kaydedilmiştir.

The Presence Of Torquigener flavimaculosus Hardy & Randall, 1983 In The Mersin Bay, Turkiye

Abstract

The existence of Torquigener flavimaculosus Hardy & Randall, a lessepsian species that belong to family Tetradontidae was first reported from the Fethiye Bay of Mediterranean coast of Turkey. It’s known that this Indo-Pasific originated species scatters along the southeastern Aegean Sea to Rhodes Island. This study reiterated the existence of this species in Mersin Bay of Turkey.
