The activities of adenosine deaminase in different periods of pregnaney and after parturition were investigated in 9 goats. Blood samples weıe collected at days 21, 40, 75, 100, 145 of pregnaney and at day 10 after parturition. Serums were harvested from these samples and adenosine deaminase levels were assayed as IU/L. Adenosine deaminase activity was higher after parturition but lowed during pregnaney. The lowest activity was assayed nearest the term. Activities at the sampling times were 5.6, 4.59, 3.96, 2.52, 1.54 and 7.15 IU/L, respeetively. Adenosine deaminase activities were different at days 21, 40, 100, 145 and after parturition P< 0.001 . It was concluded that serum adenosine deaminase activities low importantly during pregnaney towards to term. Low level can be predieted as early as at day 21. This condition of this enzyme may be useful at pregnaney diagnosis and may be indicate normal pregnancies
