Öz

Ekstramedüler plazmasitomlar, kemik iliği boşluğu dışından köken alan plazma hücre tümörleridir. Klasik literatür, köpeklerdeki insidansı malignant tümörler içinde %1’den az olarak açıklarken, araştırıcılar son zamanlarda görülen artışı çeşitli faktörlere bağlamaktadırlar. Biz de değişik sistemlerde farklı bulgularla seyreden ve yaşam kalitesini belirgin ölçüde olumsuz etkileyen hastalık hakkında detaylı bilgi edinmenin yararlı olacağı düşüncesiyle, derlememizde konuya dair bilgi vermeyi amaçladık
