As of 2023, only English Full Text Research Articles will be accepted in Journal of Architectural Sciences and Applications (JASA). Review articles will not be accepted.
ABOUT
• The Journal of Architectural Sciences and Applications (JASA), which started its publication in 2016, is accessed via the Dergipark platform (
https://dergipark.org.tr/tr• JASA is an international, scientific, and peer-reviewed e-journal published online and in open access.
• The language of the journal is English and Turkish.
• It is published twice a year (July and December).
• No evaluation or application fee is charged for the articles submitted to the JASA.
• The JASA uses
a double-blind, peer-reviewed process. All articles are evaluated by internal reviewers (Editors and Editorial Board Members) for preliminary review and external reviewers (international editorial advisory board and experts in the field) for content.
• JASA's editorial policy is based on quality and transparency.
• JASA has strongly adopted the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing set by
DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals).• All studies published in the JASA comply with the “
YÖK Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Directive” provisions and the relevant legislation and ethical principles issued by the Publication Ethics Committee (
COPE). Ethics Committee Permission is mandatory for articles to be published in the journal, for publications starting in 2020.
• JASA is licensed under
a Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial-Share-Alike 4.0 International License.
• The Turnitin Similarity rate is less than 18% in JASA.
• A “DOI number” is assigned for each article published in the JASA
• After a manuscript was submitted to the system,
the evaluation process are carried out in three stages and at least eight weeks. 1. the pre-check stage (max. two weeks), 2. the evaluation and decision stage (max. three weeks), and 3. the publishing stage (max. three weeks). The authors can only withdraw articles during the pre-check and evaluation/decision stages. Papers cannot be withdrawn at the publishing stage (if the layout is done and the DOI number is obtained).
• JASA has been indexed in the
TR Index database developed by ULAKBIM within TÜBİTAK since 2020 and
Art Index (Art Research Database, EBSCO) since 2022.
• It is also indexed in some national and international indexes (Science database, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ),
Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ),
BASE, Asos Index,
WorldCat, Idealonline,
I2OR, Türkiye Turizm Dizini, Information Matrix for the Analysis of Journals,

If deemed appropriate by the JASA Editorial Board, "Special Issues" are published once a year on symposium, congresses, workshops and special thematic issues, etc. The same research article publication processes and policies in JASA apply to the articles in the "Special Issues". Experienced Field Editors or Publication Editors from the JASA Editorial Board are assigned as Editors for Special Issues.
