Konik Işınlı Bilgisayarlı Tomografi Görüntülerinde rastlantısal multiple yumuşak doku kalsifikasyonları: İki olgu sunumu ve literatür derlemesi

Abstract

Rastlantısal bulgular, belirli ilgi alanı dışında var olan ve konik ışınlı bilgisayarlı tomografi (KİBT) tarafından tespit edilen anormal bulgulardır. Ayrıca, mevcut hastalıkla ilgisi olmayan ve tesadüfen keşfedilen bulgular olarak da tanımlanırlar. Maksillofasiyal bölgedeki yumuşak doku kalsifikasyonları genellikle rutin muayenelerde radyografik bulgulara karşılık gelir. Baş ve boyundaki yumuşak doku yapılarının kalsifikasyonu fizyolojik veya patolojik mineralizasyon olarak ortaya çıkabilir. Patolojik mineralizasyonun eklem kıkırdağında, ligament , glandüler ve vasküler dokularda meydana gelme olasılığı daha yüksektir ve genellikle kronik inflamasyon veya skar ile ilişkilidir. KİBT gelişimi ve kullanımının artması nedeniyle baş-boyun bölgesinin yumuşak doku kalsifikasyonu yaygın olarak görülmektedir. Bu yazıda, dental ve eklem şikayetiyle kliniğimize başvuran iki hastada tesadüfi keşfedilen multiple yumuşak doku kalsifikasyonları sunulmaktadır.
