Application Of Fibers For Intraoral Repair Of Porcelain

Abstract

Metal-ceramic fixed prostheses have been widely used in dentistry. However, occasional fractures resulting from the brittle nature of the porcelain may occur. This report presents the intraoral application of a fiber-reinforced porcelain repair on a fractured multi-unit fixed partial prosthesis involving exposure of the metal substructure

Abstract

Metal destekli porselen restorasyonlar dişhekimliğinde yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Ancak, porselenin kırılgan tabiatından kaynaklanan kırıklar olabilmektedir. Bu makalede, metal altyapının açığa çıktığı çok üyeli bir sabit bölümlü restorasyon kırığı vakasında uygulanan fiber ile güçlendirilmiş ağız içi porselen tamiri anlatılmaktadır
