OUR JOURNAL POLICY REGARDING PAPERS PRESENTED AT CONGRESSES/SYMPOSIUMS

As of 2020, papers presented at congresses or symposiums and published in congress/symposium proceedings, as well as book reviews, will no longer be accepted. Works currently in our journal system that are in the pre-review/evaluation process may be published after the peer review process is successfully completed and the Editorial Board deems them suitable for publication, with an explanation provided as a footnote on the first page of the work.

OUR JOURNAL POLICY REGARDING CO-AUTHORSHIP

Works published in our journal may be prepared by one or more authors. In studies with multiple authors, authors should be listed in order of their contributions to the study, and all authors must sign the "Copyright Transfer Form" with their wet signatures, in order of author order in the study. The Copyright Transfer Form will be requested from authors of articles approved for publication later. Do not submit it when submitting your article.

ETHICS COMMITTEE APPROVAL
In accordance with ULAKBİM TR DİZİN 2020 criteria, ethical committee approval is required for all research conducted on humans and animals in clinical and experimental fields, including Social Sciences. This approval must be stated and documented in the article. In studies requiring ETHICS COMMITTEE APPROVAL, information regarding the approval (committee name, date, and number) must be included on the FIRST page of the article and at the BOTTOM of the page. Additionally, the ethics committee approval document must be uploaded to the system. For articles that do not require ethics committee approval, uploading a signed letter stating that approval is not needed is sufficient.

Studies requiring ethical committee approval are listed below:
1. All types of qualitative or quantitative research using interview, focus group, observation, experiment, survey, and conversation techniques, and collecting data accordingly,
2. Cases involving the use of humans or animals for experimental and other scientific purposes,
3. Clinical research conducted on humans and animals,
4. Retrospective studies as required by the Personal Data Protection Law.

In case reports submitted to the journal, it is important to include information indicating that a voluntary consent form was signed. Detailed information regarding the Ethical Principles can be found on the journal's "Ethical Principles and Publication Policy" page.

Studies Not Requiring Ethics Committee Approval:
Ethics committee approval is not required for studies conducted with data obtained before 2020 (the date of data collection should be given in the methods section), studies derived from master's/doctoral studies with data collected before 2020 (this should be indicated in a footnote), conference papers with data collected and presented before 2020 (this should be indicated in a footnote), studies submitted to the journal before 2020, and review studies.
