ETHICAL PRINCIPLES:
- Özal Journal of Agricultural and Food Sciences (AGROZAL), commits to fulfilling its ethical duties and responsibilities based on the Higher Education Institutions ‘Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Guidelines’, the ‘COPE Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors’ and the ‘COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors’ published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE); it expects authors and reviewers to act accordingly.
- The manuscript submitted to AGROZAL for publication must be prepared in accordance with scientific ethics.
- When presenting research results that require an Ethics Committee Report, a copy of the Ethics Committee Report must be attached.
- The author(s) are solely responsible for the content of the manuscripts to be published in the journal.
PUBLICATION POLICY
- AGROZAL is published twice a year, in June and December.
- Review Articles can be accepted in each issue at a rate of 20% of the total number of articles.
- Review articles should be original, should contain the latest innovations and should not repeat classical knowledge.
- Studies submitted to AGROZAL for publication should not have been published elsewhere or sent for publication.
- All responsibility for the manuscripts submitted to the AGROZAL belongs to the authors.
- In AGROZAL, all processes are carried out online. Submissions sent for publication in the AGROZAL should be uploaded to the Dergipark Article Management System.
- A maximum of two articles by one author can be published in the same issue as the first name.
- The Editorial Board may make shortening and corrections in the manuscript if deemed necessary.
- No royalties are paid to the author(s) for the published manuscripts. If the manuscripts are accepted for publication, AGROZAL will own all publication rights. In case of quotation from published manuscripts, it is obligatory to cite the source.
- All authors of the manuscripts submitted to AGROZAL must include their ORCID numbers on the Title page.
- In the manuscripts sent to AGROZAL for publication and carried out with financial support, the name of the organization providing the support and the project number, if any, should be specified.

PLAGIARISM POLICY
- The Özal Journal of Agricultural and Food Sciences (AGROZAL) checks manuscripts submitted to the journal for similarity.
- Before submitting a manuscript to AGROZAL, it is recommended that you determine the similarity of your manuscript using appropriate plagiarism software (iThenticate, Turnitin, etc.).
- Manuscripts submitted to AGROZAL undergo a preliminary evaluation process; similarity rates are determined using iThenticate software, and a similarity rate below 20% is accepted by the Scientific Board.
- Manuscripts with a similarity rate of 20% or higher are returned to the author(s).
