Today, with the advancement of technology, smartphones have become an integral part of people's lives. This situation has affected people's lives and made them addicted to phones. Nomophobia, which is defined as the fear of being deprived of a smart mobile phone, and sociotelism, which is defined as focusing on smart mobile phones instead of communicating between people in society, are two of these addictions. For the data of study, Nomophobia scale (NMP-Q) developed by Yıldırım & Correia (2015) and adapted to Turkish by Yıldırım et al. (2016) and the GSO/ GSMK scales developed by Chotpitayasunondh & Douglas (2018) and adapted to Turkish by Orhan Göksün (2019) were used. 216 university students were reached during the research process. 156 of the participants are female (72.2%) and 60 of them are male (27.8%). The collected data are analyzed by independent sample t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and simple linear regression tests.
