Doç. Dr. Serkan GÜLSOY Isparta Uygulamalı Bilimler Üniversitesi, Orman Fakültesi Toprak İlmi ve Ekoloji Anabilim Dalında öğretim üyesidir. 25.03.2011/22.06.2011 tarihleri arasında Sütçüler MYO Müdürlüğü ve 2012-2018 yılları arasında SDÜ Botanik Bahçesi ve Herbaryum Araştırma Merkezi Müdürlüğü görevini yürütmüştür. Yüksek Lisansını bitki türlerinin verimlilik-çevre ilişkileri üzerine tamaladıktan sonra, Doktorasını ise yine bitki türlerinde uçucu yağ-çevre ilişkileri konusunda gerçekleştirmiştir. Şu ana kadar Ulusal ve Uluslararası indekslere kayıtlı toplam 84 yayını bulunmakta olup, bu yayınların büyük bir bölümü, Akdeniz Bölgesindeki ormanların vejetasyon yapısı, biyolojik çeşitlilik, bitki türlerinin dağılımı, verimliliği ve ekolojik faktörlerle ilişkisi ile ekolojik modelleme ve haritalama çalışmaları üzerine olmuştur. Şu ana kadar mevcut yayınlarına toplam 219 adet Ulusal ve Uluslararası bilim konseptinde atıf almıştır. Yine makaleler haricinde çok sayıda proje çalışmalarına hakemlik yapmış olan Doç. Dr. Serkan GÜLSOY 52 farklı projelerde ise farklı statüler ile görev almıştır. Bunlar içerisinde örneğin TÜBİTAK 1001-TOVAK kapsamında desteklenen 112O814 No'lu “Boylu Ardıç (Juniperus Excelsa Bieb.) Kozalaklarının Fenolik Madde, Uçucu Yağ Bileşimi Ve Antioksidan Özelliklerinin Yetişme Ortamı Koşullarına Göre Değerlendirilmesi” başlıklı proje ve etkinliklerin yürütücüsü olmuştur. Yine TÜBİTAK 1001-TOVAK kapsamında desteklenen 214O248 No'lu “Antalya Düzlerçamı Yaban Hayatı Geliştirme Sahası’nda Alageyik (Cervus dama L.) Populasyonlarını ve Habitatını Koruma - Geliştirme Yöntem ve Stratejilerinin Araştırılması” projesinde ise Bitki Ekoloğu (Flora Uzmanı) olarak Yardımcı Araştırmacı görevini üstlenmiştir. Ayrıca Orman Genel Müdürlüğü Araştırma Projeleri kapsamında desteklenen ESK-16 (6312) nolu ve “Türkmen Dağı Bitki Toplumları, Bitki Çeşitliliği ve Yetişme Ortamı Faktörleri Arasındaki İlişkiler” başlıklı projede Araştırmacı olarak görev almıştır. Bunlar haricinde TÜBİTAK-2237A kapsamında desteklenen “Analitik Doğa – Kümeleme ve Ordinasyon Teknikleri”, TÜBİTAK 4004 kapsamında desteklenmiş olan 118B453 Proje Nolu “Kızıldağ Milli Parkı ve Çevresinde Doğa Eğitimi”, 213B573 Proje Nolu “SDÜ Botanik Bahçesi'nde Erguvanlar Çiçek Açıyor 3” ve 112B114 Proje Nolu “Tabiat Ana ve Biz” projelerinde Uzman olarak görev almıştır. Yine TÜBİTAK 2237-A kapsamında pek çok kez destek alan 129B371800485 No'lu ve “Biyolojik Çeşitlilik Ölçüm Süreçleri: Envanter, Veri Transferi ve Hesaplama Teknikleri” başlıklı projede eğitmen olarak görev almıştır. Ayrıca yine çok sayıda proje ve eğitim etkinliklerde haricen görevi bulunan Doç. Dr. Serkan GÜLSOY Lisans Seviyesinde Ekoloji, Biyolojk Çeşitlilik ve Ekosistem Sınıflandırması İklim Değişikliği Sürecinde Akdeniz Ormanları dersleri ile Lisansüstü düzeyde Orman Ekolojisinde Arazi Envanter Uygulamaları, İklim Değişikliği Sürecinde Akdeniz Ormanları ve Vejetasyon Sınıflandırma Yöntemleri derslerini vermektedir.

Rassima Salimbayeva – PhD, Associate Professor, Head of the Educational Programs «Ecology» and «Environment and Sustainable Development» of the «Narxoz University», Almaty, Kazakhstan. In 2002, successfully graduated from the T. Ryskulov Kazakh Economic University (now Narxoz University), received the qualification of an economist. After graduating from the University, entered PhD program in the specialty «Economics of Nature Management and Environmental Protection», received a PhD degree, and since 2006 has begun teaching in environmental disciplines.
During entire scientific and pedagogical activity, more than 50 scientific papers have been published, including publications in the international Scopus and Web of Science databases, 2 textbooks, 2 monographs. All publications are devoted to issues of economics, nature management, ecology, the latest works are devoted to the project management and sustainable development.
Has significant experience in conducting scientific research in the field of ecology and sustainable development, experience in scientific projects:
• 2015-2017 – work on the research of the grant project of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan «New Silk Road: from regional cooperation to the integration of Kazakhstan into the global economic and political space» the study of environmental risks along the New Silk Road, including greenhouse gas emissions along the countries of the New Silk Road and transboundary water problems of Central Asia.
• 2023-2025 – grant funding project of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan «The Triune Concept of Sustainable Development (ESG): business interests in the context of balanced development of regions». Current project.
• 2024-2026 – grant funding project of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Development of a methodology for assessing the sustainability of projects in single-industry towns in the context of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals». Project Manager. Current project.
Completed scientific internships at universities in Italy (Viterbo, University of Tuscia, 2014), the Russian Federation (Moscow, Lomonosov Moscow State University, 2016), the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Vrije University, 2020), in the USA (University of Massachusetts, Amherst, 2022-2023).
