Sâkînames, in individual literary genres, have an important place as they reflect the understanding of conversation, drink and pleasure of the society they were written. Miniature texts; however, generally supports the imagination of the reader. Miniatures in Sâkînâmes can contribute to a clearer understanding of concepts such as sâkî, sarap, ‘ıys u isret, which are mentioned in Divan poetry. In one copy of Revani's Isret-name, miniatures are depicted with the text. The relationship between text and miniature in the Isret-name has been the subject of this study. The characteristics of the miniatures were determined by examining the ten miniatures in the copy of Isret-name, which is considered to be the first individual sâkînâme of Divan poetry, registered at number Ms. or. oct. 3366 in Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin and one miniature in the another copy registered in the same library at number Diez A oct.144. It has been determined whether there is a difference between the miniatures whose qualities are expressed and what is described in the text of the work, and to what extent they are compatible.
