Söhrab Tahir’in “Yazda Payız Söhbәti” Povestinde Olumsuz Değerlendirilme Korkusu ve Yalnızlık

Abstract

Çağdaş Güney Azerbaycan şiirinin önde gelen isimlerinden Söhrab Tahir, eserlerinde Kuzey Azerbaycan ve Güney Azerbaycan'ın ortak edebî geleneklerini birleştirir. Uzun yıllar sürgünde yaşayan S. Tahir’in şiirlerinde, hikâyelerinde, povestlerinde ve romanlarında Güney Azerbaycan önemli bir yer tutar. Bununla birlikte nesir türünde kaleme aldığı eserlerinde sıradan insanların hayatlarını, iç dünyalarını ve ruhsal durumlarını ayrıntıları ile anlatır. Söhrab Tahir’in “Yazda Payız Söhbәti” povestinde çeşitli sebeplerle bir hastanede bir araya gelen insanların yaşadığı sıkıntılar, psikolojik durumlar ele alınır. Povestteki kişilerin duyguları “olumsuz değerlendirilme korkusu” ve “yalnızlık” olguları etrafında oluşur. Bu çalışmada Söhrab Tahir’in hayatı ve edebî şahsiyeti ile “Yazda Payız Söhbәti” povestinin içeriği hakkında bilgi verildikten sonra “olumsuz değerlendirilme korkusu” ve “yalnızlık” olguları açıklanarak bu olguların povestte nasıl işlendiği belirlenmiş, povest kişileri üzerindeki etkileri ortaya konulmuştur. Yapılan bu inceleme ile Söhrab Tahir’in başkasına, dışa, görünene ya da yüzey yapıya odaklanmanın yanıltıcılığına dikkat çektiği ve bu durumun insanın yalnızlaşmasına, çeşitli psikolojik sıkıntılar yaşamasına sebep olduğu mesajını ilettiği görülmüştür. Ayrıca bu çalışma ile Söhrab Tahir’in Türkiye’deki edebiyat araştırmacıları tarafından daha iyi tanınmasına da katkıda bulunmak amaçlanmıştır.

Fear of Negative Evaluation and Loneliness in Söhrab Tahir's Povest "Yazda Payız Söhbәti"

Abstract

Söhrab Tahir, one of the leading figures of contemporary South Azerbaijani poetry, combines the common literary traditions of North Azerbaijan and South Azerbaijan in his works. South Azerbaijan plays an important role in the poems, stories, povests and novels of S. Tahir, who lived in exile for many years. At the same time, in his prose works, he describes in detail the lives of ordinary people, their inner world and mental state. Söhrab Tahir's povest "Yazda Payız Söhbәti" deals with the troubles and psychological states of people who come together in a hospital for various reasons. The feelings of the people in the povest are formed around the phenomena of "fear of negative evaluation" and "loneliness". In this study, after giving information about the life and literary personality of Söhrab Tahir and the content of the povest "Yazda Payız Söhbәti", the phenomena of "fear of negative evaluation" and "loneliness" are explained, how these phenomena are treated in the povest is evaluated, and their effects on the povest people are revealed. With this analysis, it has been seen that Söhrab Tahir draws attention to the deception of focusing on others, the outside, the visible or the surface structure and conveys the message that this situation causes people to become lonely and experience various psychological problems. In addition, this study aims to contribute to the better recognition of Söhrab Tahir by literary researchers in Turkey.
