Rektum Adenokarsinomasının Penil Metastazi

Öz

ÖZ Metastatik penis lezyonları nadir görülen lezyonlardır. Literatürde 500'den az olgu bildirilmiştir. Bu nadir olguların yaklaşık %70' inde primer odak genitoüriner sistemdir. Akciğer, kemik ve rektumdan kaynaklanan olgular daha az sıklıkla bildirilmiştir. Bunlardan sadece 56'sında primer odak rektumdur. Metastatik penis lezyonlarının tipik semptomları yoktur. Hastalar genellikle sert, immobil, ağrısız kitle veya nodül ile başvururlar. Günümüzde en etkili görüntüleme yöntemi Manyetik Rezonans görüntülemedir. Literatürde kemoterapi, total penektomi ve radyoterapi gibi çeşitli palyatif veya küratif tedavi yöntemleri uygulanmıştır. Ancak hasta prognozu kötüdür. Bu hastalarda bildirilen medyan sağkalım yaklaşık dokuz aydır. Bu makalede, bilinen rektum adenokarsinomu olan bir hastada ortaya çıkan penis metastazını görüntüleme bulgularıyla birlikte sunmayı amaçladık.

Penile Metastasis of Rectum Adenocarcinoma

Abstract

Metastatic penile lesions are rare. Less than 500 cases have been reported in the literature. The primary source in approximately 70% of these rare cases is the genitourinary system. Cases originating from the lungs, bone, and rectum have been reported less frequently. In only 56 of these, the primary site was the rectum. There are no typical symptoms of metastatic penile lesions. Patients generally present with a hard, immobile, painless mass or nodule. The most effective imaging method is currently magnetic resonance imaging. Various palliative or curative treatment methods such as chemotherapy, total penectomy and radiotherapy have been reported in the literature. However, patient prognosis is still poor. The reported median survival in these patients is approximately nine months. This paper aims to present a penile metastasis occurring in a patient with known rectum adenocarcinoma, together with the imaging findings.
