Okulda Fiziksel Aktivite Sağlamak İçin Yeterlik Fırsat Ve Motivasyon Ölçeği’nin Türkçeye Uyarlanması: Geçerlik ve Güvenirlik Çalışması

Abstract

Mevcut çalışmada, Verdonschot ve arkadaşları (2024) tarafından geliştirilen Okulda Fiziksel Aktivite Sağlamak İçin Yeterlik Fırsat Ve Motivasyon Ölçeği’nin (COM-PASS) Türkçe'ye uyarlama çalışması yapılarak beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin okullarında fiziksel aktivite sağlamak için yeterlik, fırsat ve motivasyon düzeylerini ölçmeye yönelik bir ölçme aracı elde edilmiştir. Bu uyarlama çalışması için öncelikle dil geçerliliği sağlanmış, ardından AFA ve DFA analizleri uygulanarak geçerliliği test edilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda ölçme aracının dil geçerliliği için alan uzmanı 3 araştırmacıdan destek alınmıştır. Veriler, 2024-2025 akademik yılında İstanbul ilinde farklı düzey ve kurumlarda eğitim veren beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin katılımıyla toplanmıştır. Analizler SPSS versiyon 27.0 ve JASP 0.19.3 paket programları ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ölçeğin güvenilirlik testi için yapılan Açımlayıcı Faktör Analizi (AFA) sonuçlarından elde edilen bulgular neticesinde 14 madde ve 3 alt faktörün formunu koruduğu tespit edilmiş ve aynı örneklem grubundan 3 hafta sonra tekrar toplanan veriler ile yapılan doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonuçlarına göre ölçeğin modelinin iyi uyum sağladığı tespit edilmiştir. Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi (DFA) analizlerine göre Ki-kare/sd (2,07) değerine göre iyi, RMSEA (,066) değerine göre iyi, GFI (,876), IFI (,910), RNI (,908), CFI (,908), TLI (,887) değerleri açısından iyi ve kabul edilebilir olduğu saptanmıştır. Ayrıca ölçeğin Cronbach's Alpha değerleri .86 ile .78 arasında değişmektedir. Bu sonuçlar “Okulda Fiziksel Aktivite Sağlamak İçin Yeterlik Fırsat ve Motivasyon” ölçeğinin Türkçe uyarlamasının geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçüm aracı olduğunu göstermiştir. Ölçek, beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin beden eğitimi ve spor derslerini gerçekleştirmek için yeterliklerinin, dersin işlenmesi için sağlanan fırsatların ve yine beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin dersi gerçekleştirmek için motivasyonlarının değerlendirilmesinde için etkili bir araç olduğu söylenebilir.

Adaptation of Capability, Opportunity, and Motivation to deliver Physical Activity in School Scale into Turkish: Validity and Reliability Study

Abstract

In the present study, a measurement tool for measuring the competence, opportunity and motivation levels of physical education and sport teachers to provide physical activity in their schools was obtained by adapting the Capability, Opportunity, and Motivation to deliver Physical Activity in School Scale (COM-PASS) developed by Verdonschot et al. In this direction, support was received from 3 researchers who are experts in the field for the language validity of the measurement tool. The data were collected with the participation of physical education and sports teachers teaching at different levels and institutions in Istanbul in the 2024-2025 academic year. Analyses were carried out with SPSS version 27.0 and JASP 0.19.3 package programmes. As a result of the findings obtained from the EFA results for the reliability test of the scale, it was determined that 14 items and 3 sub-factors maintained their form, and according to the results of the confirmatory factor analysis performed with the data collected from the same sample group 3 weeks later, it was determined that the model of the scale provided a good fit. According to the CFA analyses, it was found that it was good according to Chi-square/sd (2.07), good according to RMSEA (.066), good and acceptable in terms of GFI (.876), IFI (.910), RNI (.908), CFI (.908), TLI (.887) values. In addition, Cronbach's Alpha values of the scale ranged between .86 and .78. These results showed that the Turkish adaptation of the COM-PASS is a valid and reliable measurement tool. It can be said that the scale is an effective tool for the evaluation of physical education and sport teachers' competences to carry out physical education and sport lessons, the opportunities provided for teaching the lesson and the motivation of physical education teachers to perform the lesson.
