Journal of Akdeniz İletişim (e-ISSN: 2619-9718) presents its archiving policy as follows within the scope of its policy to support the dissemination of research results:

• Authors are allowed to self-save the final, published version of their articles (publisher PDF) on their personal websites or in institutional repositories.
• Authors may archive their articles in public or subject-specific commercial repositories without embargo; however, the source of publication must be stated and a link to the journal homepage or the article's DOI must be provided.
• PDF versions of articles can be downloaded and authors may share copies with their colleagues without any restrictions.
• All submitted, accepted and published article versions can be stored without embargo in any institutional or other repository of the author's choice.
• In order to support the creation of permanent archives, Journal of Akdeniz İletişim uses the LOCKSS system. Based at Stanford University Libraries, the LOCKSS Program aims to provide libraries and publishers with permanent and reliable access to digital content by providing award-winning, low-cost and open-source digital preservation tools.
• LOCKSS is a digital preservation system developed under the leadership of the library, with the principle of ensuring the security of multiple copies.

Permanent Article Identifier: DOI

Journal of Akdeniz İletişim assigns a DOI number to each article that is accepted for publication and whose processes are completed as a result of editorial evaluations. According to the DOI Foundation, a DOI is "a digital identifier of an object, any object — physical, digital, or abstract".
